Often, in a sentence there are some groups of words that are used together as meaning portions of that sentence.
कई बार, वाक्य में शब्दों के ऐसे समूह होते हैं जिन्हें वाक्य के अर्थपूर्ण हिस्सों की तरह प्रयुक्त किया जाता है.

He has a good memory.
Jack and Jill went up the hill
He has a pen that is made of gold.
He has a pen of gold.

Phrase

A group of words that is part of sentence and makes sense but does not make complete sense is called a Phrase. A Phrase cannot be used separately as a complete sentence.
Phrase (वाक्यांश) शब्दों का ऐसा समूह जो वाक्य में होता है जिनका कुछ अर्थ निकलता है पर वह अर्थ पूरा नहीं होता. एक वाक्यांश को अलग से एक पूर्ण वाक्य की तरह उपयोग मे नहीं लाया जा सकता.

Clause

A group of words that is a part of a sentence, makes sense and has a subject and a predicates is called a Clause.
Clause शब्दों का एसा समूह है जो किसी वाक्य का हिस्सा होता है और उसमें अपना ही एक कर्ता और कारक होता है.

Please show me how this is done.
You can start working when he reaches home.

A Clause if used separately would by itself qualify as a complete sentence.
यदि अलग से उपयोग किया गया तो एक Clause अपने आप में एक पूर्ण वाक्य बन सकता है.
